Join us as Chef Brian shows you how to create delicious vegan friendly dishes. In this class he will be featuring styles from the Mediterranean as well as the Middle East. Farro is an extremely nutritious grain. It's an excellent source of protein, fiber and nutrients like magnesium, zinc and some B vitamins. It's a much healthier alternative to white rice or other refined grains. Falafel is typically made out of chickpeas (also called garbanzo beans), but you can still find other variations depending on where you buy your falafel. The chickpeas are soaked, then ground up, and seasoned with onions, scallions and spices like parsley, garlic, cumin and coriander.

Ages 16 and Older. Please note: Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

What to Expect:

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above

  • You will work with other students in groups

  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students

  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class

  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
